Subject: Strange logic errors with Firebug
This issue is best described with the following two jpg files.  I
couldn't find a way to attach a file to this group, so they are
available at:

http://www.42developments.net/firebug/firebug%20before%20if.jpg

And

http://www.42developments.net/firebug/firebug%20after%20if.jpg

As you can see by both the contents of the variables and the watch
expression the code should jump into the IF statement when clicking on
step into.

However, it doesn't and acts as if the IF expression was false and
bypasses the IF code which is clearly wrong.

Has anyone else encountered this?

It's a real shame because it's such an awesome product, but far too
buggy to use at the moment.

Regards

Graham

This problem is the number one priority bug we have filed with
Mozilla.

While I agree that the Javascript stepping is very serious, I would
like you to back-up this assertion that Firebug is "far too buggy to
use at the moment". Which specific bugs on http://code.google.com/p/fbug/issues/list
prevent you from being successful?
