The Mozilla addons site has been updated with Firebug 1.2 Beta 3. If
you're looking to install it, you can now find it there. (Note that
caches and mirrors may still be catching up, so it may be an hour or
two after this posting until everyone sees it.)

See: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1843

We're also working on a stable hosting arrangement for the
getfirebug.com site, since it's been down so often. A migration is
currently underway, but I don't yet have an ETA for when it'll be
fully back in action.

Is there any link where I could download it for an offline install?

Thanks.

I'd be happy to help with this transition if it is necessary. Firebug
is easily the most important web development tool I have.
If so feel free to contact me.

Update:

The new hosting is mostly in place now, although it may take time for
the DNS updates to trickle down to everyone.

Also note that the restored site is a somewhat old snapshot of
getfirebug.com, so it will need some updating (for example, it doesn't
have links to Firebug 1.2 yet).

This is great news. Any idea on when a new version of Firebug 1.2 will
be release? I ask because Beta 3 has a bug with Net Monitor listeners
that is fixed in later revisions.

Thanks,

b4 should be ready in about two days. Butwe have to wait for
getfirebug.com or addons.mozilla.org to release new versions.

I can't do that 'cause I'm using FF2 at my work (I use FF3 at home),
so the button is disabled.
But thank you, anyway.

I hope this isn't a dumb question, but could you just use the google
code download page for this stuff?
