Trying to inspect HTML using Firebug 1.4.0b7 with Firefox 3.5 corrupts page

If you turn on firebug on www.nextstop.com and then click the inspect
flashlight, you'll notice that the page header and footer completely
disappear. This is making it rather hard for us to debug issues -- is
there anything we can do on our end to fix this?

I'll note that this was NOT a problem with Firefox 3.0 and earlier
versions of Firebug, so I don't think its a general problem with our
site.

Sounds like issue 1999:

This is Firefox 3.5 problem that will be fixed "soon".

Awesome, yes, this sounds exactly right. I filed a bug (http://
code.google.com/p/fbug/issues/detail?id=2041) as well but will
duplicate with one.

Thanks for the speedy reply (and it goes without saying I hope a
brilliant tool that we can't live without!)
