Hello -- now that Chrome includes full support for the webRequest extension, is there any hope of seeing a Net panel for Firebug Lite for Chrome? It'd be *awesome* to see Firebug come over to the Chrome platform in all its glory....

Sounds very cool! Though to set expectations I need to say that the Firebug Working Group fully concentrates on Firebug and currently doesn't have resources free to continue the work on Firebug Lite.
But you can always try yourself on the codebase and provide a patch, which implements this. If you can't provide one, then at least create an enhancement request, so this is not forgotten.
