First - big fan. Firebug has become and indispensable part of my web development workflow. As such, unfortunately, and minor issues end up causing significant hassles on my end. Take this one, for example, that surfaced after the 1.10 compulsory update, with Firebug in "detached" mode:
- Load a new site that would have entries in the Firebug JS Console, and it's blank (screenshot 1) - If you switch to the "HTML" tab and click "Console" again, the console shows (screenshot 2) - No Firebug extensions are enabled

i had similar problems - but only on specific websites (especially those, i had activated firebug for in earlier firebug versions): i could see only the grey background of the firebug console-tab. when i clicked another tab and then came back to console, i could see the console.
i have now reset the firebug settings, now it´s okay again - but i can´t say why... :-)
