You can get Firebug 1.1 beta on http://fireclipse.xucia.com/#Downloads which
supports Firefox 3.

Hello all,
Isn't Firebug 1.1 a fork of the original firebug? If it is, shouldn't
it be renamed?
Anyway, good job for continuing it, it's the best extension for
Firefox, I don't care if it's a fork or what is its name (well... I
would like it to auto-update).
And does someone know what happened to [the original] Firebug?

It's not a fork. All of the 1.1 source is in the same tree as 1.0 and
1.1 is now the trunk.

I would recommend hosting the download on Google Code in the downloads
section   I see the 1.1 code there on google code.  I would make
google code the main home.  You may also see if you can get
getfirebugs.com to point link there for the current version.
