Dear colleagues,

I've just opened a proposal to form a Q&A community for IR and Search
Engines at the StackExchange Network (the hosts of StackOverflow and
various other successful Q&A communities).

To make this happen, the site needs your support, so I'd be happy if
you pay it a visit and get involved by asking questions and voting on
them:

Also, please pass around this invitation to others you believe may be
interested in such a Q&A site.
After all, Q&A sites are among our very own research subjects, so it
