spam on the FIRE list

Hi all,

sorry for the spam on the FIRE list.
My spam filter seems to have been working quite well, so I have not
noticed it at all.

I have just banned about half of the group members from writing and I
hope I did not ban anybody who is really interested in FIRE. If I did
so, please tell me, and I will re-add you.

Furthermore, I have strictened the rules according to which a new
members can post to the list.

I hope to be able to reduce the amount of spam this way.
