Congratulations to Capt. Michael T. Balcom, Gilford, this year's FIOANH Peter J. Carver Fire Officer of the Year Award recipient.  Capt. Balcom is a 26 year member of Gilford Fire-Rescue and a 20-plus year company officer whose leadership style has resulted in the positive mentorship of hundreds of New Hampshire firefighters.

Congratulations also to Deputy Chief Mark Klose, Bedford Fire Department, and Lieutenant Jessica Wyman, Nashua Fire-Rescue, who each received FIOANH Life Membership this evening in recognition of their service on the Board of Directors as well as their considerable contributions to the betterment of the fire service.
