This was a good film by Bernardo Bertolucci, well made, interesting
subject and a great end. It has been called a political allegory but I
would rather call it religious allegory.
SPOILERS! I wonder if Bertolucci is in fact trying to compare the
whole plot to Christianity. It was all planed to create a hero to
increase the hatred toward the enemy.
