Dear Colleagues,

 Greetings!

 The Ateneo de Manila University Rizal Library invites you to attend its Fifth International Conference entitled, “Libraries, Archives, and Museums: Common Challenges, Unique Approaches.” The subthemes for the conference are:

 

1.    Acquisition and Appraisal

2.    Space Management

3.    Preservation and Conservation: Practices and Procedures

4.    Marketing and Promotion

5.    Digitization

6.    Disaster Planning and Management

7.    Cultural Heritage Preservation

8.    Student Research

 

The conference will be held on October 25-26, 2012 at the Leong Hall, Ateneo de Manila University, Quezon City, Philippines.  It aims to showcase how libraries, archives, and museums approach challenges, formulate strategies, and develop best practices.  The conference fee is PhP 3,000.00 (including food, kit, and certificate). 

Undergraduate library and information science students are welcome to observe for free on a first come first served basis (limited to five students per school only).
