At least in the early stages, now that I'm mostly recovered from my health issues.. Can't say more at this time (don't want to raise false hopes, as the project is in its infancy), but as the old saying goes, stay tuned Fight! Fans... ;)

Yes, David, how goes that project anyway? We haven't talked in awhile. :)

I'll be putting up a blog post about this very soon (hopefully today) that talks about this in more detail.

I've always wanted to have "3rd party support" for Fight, because I realized that it was the only way that I could see as much material as I'd like to see for the game out there in the marketplace.  I can only produce 1 book a year by myself, but I can help produce the work of a lot more people making material for publication if I'm not doing the writing myself.

So if you're interested in taking the plunge on writing for the indie game industry and you really love Fight and its genre, pitch something to me and we'll see if we can't get it out there for other people to enjoy.  You might even make a buck or two at the same time (but no promises!).

Doing some preliminary writing, intro/flavor text, consolidating all the good stuff that I've worked on, being able to sit up and actually type at my computer rather then working with my leg elevated has helped immesurably

Hey, David.

It's been a couple weeks.  Hope you are recovering well.

Once again, we are in no rush whatsoever on this project, and you can tell me that you want to back out anytime (up until we start spending money anyway!).  But I figured I'd drop you an email and see how you were.

Peace,
Christopher

Whoops.  Just realized this went to the group rather than David's personal email.  Y'all can ignore this. :)

What happened to your leg?

It's an infection condition called cellulitis.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cellulitis

the problem s with it is two fold: A) It can get really bad (the first time I had it in March, I was in the hospital for a week because my lower left leg had swollen to the point it was about twice the size of the other leg and was a bright, shiny/glossy red, and had a 102.5 fever). and B) It's not easily eradicated, as it lives within the skin tissue, I just got back from the hospital where I had to go in and get it looked at.. it's fairly easy to treat (antibiotics all over the place), and C) It effects computer time (I'm supposed to have my leg up and elevated whenever possible to aid in reducing the swelling, which is time I'd much rather spend playing video games or other tusch things.)

So, hopefully this summer I'll be able to meet up with Chris and talk about the book I want to write for fight

Oh man, I had cellulitis in my foot for months. You have my sympathies
and best wishes!

to FIGHT! The Fighting Game RPG
Bro, that is gnarly in a bad way. I seriously wish you all the best,
and good luck in writing some badass literature.

This sounds horrible.  Glad things remain better, David.
