Hi there, Thanks for making an open discussion group. Anyway, I would like to know about the current tasks and todos, would like to help out. let me know what the hot tasks are. I am from NJ and my family is also is KS. NY, PA. I would be able to help out with those states.
Thanks for the offer to help- New Jersey is in pretty good shape but I'm
pretty certain that we can find some issues in KS, NY or PA that we could
use some help with. Have you tried getting things running on your machine
yet? There's a decent amount of setup and if you haven't started that'd
definitely be step one, I'll take a look at KS and PA tomorrow and tag you
on github in some issues that you might want to look at.
Thanks again,
-James

Yes, I am setup and running the test scraper for KS now. I see that wikipedia is missing some of this information, see my other mail about that. let me know if you have any hot issues/simple tasks for me to get started

We run scrapes nightly, and it should run with the latest git. The Open
States team (James, Thom, and myself) watch the builds and intervene when
we need to.
We'll do that stuff, all you need to worry about is the code :)
