Hello,

everyone may edit the new Wiki of fhem without special rights:
http://openfacts2.berlios.de/wikien/index.php/BerliosProject:FHEM

You only need a regular account from Berlios:
http://developer.berlios.de/account/register.php

After that you will get a registration mail from Berlios. Please
confirm it and logon the first time.

IMPORTANT: after that Berlios needs up to 12 hours until the rights
are committed to the Server with the MediaWiki http://openfacts2.berlios.de
!

You are invited to help writing documentation.

One of the next projects will be something like the translation of the
FHEM documentation to other languages like german ;-) Any suggestions?

Martin :-)

The default of the edit window is about 3 lines for editing. It is
more like a spyhole ;-)

On the upper right there is the button preferences. There you can
change the size of the window.

How do I create a new page in the HOWTO category? Helps says that I need
to create a link to the new page on an existing page, then follow that
link and add a [[Category:HOWTOS]] tag to the newly created page. This
is the chicken and the egg problem: I could well create the link on an
existing page, but on which one? How did the page "Digitaler
Bilderrahmen" make its way into the wiki? I did not find a corresponding
link in a page - was it delete after creating the page?

I just "edit"ed the HowTos-Pages, inserted "[[NewHowto]]", did a
preview, right-clicked onto the link in the preview (http://open-
facts2.berlios.de/wikien/index.php?title=NewHowto&action=edit&redlink=1)
and edited this. After saving, the HowTos-page now links "NewHowTo"
(URL: http://openfacts2.berlios.de/wikien/index.php/NewHowto).

Yeah, it's a bit tricky, but at least it works ;)

thank you, this works. To say it politely: there is surely a reason to
have it that way in MediaWiki :-(

Boris.
