Hello all,

If anybody has compiled windows binaries for win32 and win64 and maintain
them regularly, I propose to add them to the download section so other people
can enjoy it as well.

Thanks a lot.

Yes please! I spent a long time trying to install ffmbc on a windows server recently, not entirely successfully.

A "batteries included" version with other libraries like x264, faac, lame, vpx and so on would be great, as long (as that doesn't end up in license hell) because it's those extras that really make it difficult.

I usually point windows users here http://www.videohelp.com/tools/ffmbc
I can't seem to see who maintain the linked files on mediafire http://www.mediafire.com/?8xynxe10rxb88
I assume that they're from a Doom9 member.

Cheers

Hi Phillip,

Would you mind uploading them to the Downloads section ?
I can give you access.

Best regards

Thanks for that Phillip. Can I be a pest and ask if you could do a build with webm and libtheora included please – that would round out the suite of tools needed for HTML5 web video.

Thanks, Phillip. I have used those builds many times myself. I would
also like to be a pest and ask for a compile with libass for being
able to render ASS/SSA subtitles.

Cheers,
Robert

I am also searching for a build with libass enabled.
Best,
Markus

New builds have been posted, now with libass. I cheated and used the
contribs from VLC to cross-compile (so much easier than a native
build). The only change to VLC's build system was to profile x264.

These binaries haven't been tested extensively. Since they are built
with a totally new toolchain, some feedback would be appreciated. The
previous builds are still available.
