Dear friends,

I want to use FFMBC to rewrapp my P2 MXF files in QT type. Altough
FFMBC makes properly the process and very fast, when I play the file
with FFPLAY, VLC or every player, the file is corrupted (there are
color blocks or simply, there is a black screen, although the audio is
heared). If this rewrapp process is made with FFMPEG, the transcoded
file is played properly in FFPLAY, although in NLE (like Edius), I see
it as green coloured. The ionly way to see the file properly has been
using AVI container, although it is not very usual in NLE.

Also, I should have other question. Are you plenned to add MXF support
for AVC Intra codec using MXF wrapper?

Thanks for your help.

Kind regards,

David

Please provide the necessary information to duplicate your issues. At
the very least you should show your complete FFmbc command. Providing
small samples is often helpful too. What version of FFmbc are you
using?

Hello Lou,

First of all, thanks for your reply. Answering your questions, I am
using latest FFMBC (0.7rc5), although I have tested with all RC from
v0.7.

The command line that I try to use is:

ffmbc -i source_video.mxf -vcodec copy -i source_audio.mxf -vcodec
copy -acodec copy output.mov

Also, I have tried with only video, but the result is always the same.
Also, I have tried adding the argument -f mov before output file, and
the result is the same.

Other test that I have tried is letting the MXF warper and FFMBC (and
FFMPEG) always returns me "track 0: could not find essence container
ul, codec not current
ly supported in container.Could not write header for output file #0".

Thanks a lot.

Kind regards,

David

To deal with MXF/P2 MXF questions, Aunsoft TransMXF is a good choice. Here are some features about TransMXF
