Hi,

I've noticed a strange behavior in one of the components I want to
show using ff-activex-host for Chrome. I see that instead of plugin
itself there is a white rectangle only and debugging of ff-activex-
host showed that there are exceptions occurring when
DoVerb(OLEIVERB_INPLACEACTIVATE) is called. I can see these exceptions
in output window of Visual Studio. It happens only on Win7 x64 and for
WinXP everything works fine. Component mentioned above works fine in
desktop application and in IE9 on Win7 x64.

Are there any ideas?

Regards,
Sergii

The plugin does not emulate all the services provided to ActiveX controls by IE. So rarely, an ActiveX comes by that requires some interface this plugin does not provide.

Assuming it works fine on non-64bit versions (of the browser or OS), then it's probably an issue of compiling a 64bit version of the plugin. Were you using the 32bit or 64bit version of IE?

Leeor.
