I'm currently in the process of reviewing a translation done just
moments ago in Felix, and I've noticed that although matches come up
correctly in the Felix match window when I select translations, whenever
I click on the "Register Glossary" link to register glossary entries,
the entry shown in the Add Glossary Entry window is always the last
translated segment in the document, not the entry currently shown in the
Felix match window.
At first I thought closing the document and then re-opening it would
take care of this, but that did not work. Next I tried exiting and then
restarting Word, but that did not work either. Finally, I tried exiting
and restarting Felix, which now shows nothing at all in the Add Glossary
Entry window, even after selecting the translation I want to add terms
from and having it appear in the Felix match window.
Has anyone else encountered this? Does anyone have advice on how to work
around it? Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
My translation environment:
Windows Vista Business SP2
Word 2007 SP2
Felix 1.5
Memory Serves 1.4.1
Best regards,
Sako Eaton
Thanks for reporting this. It is indeed a Felix bug. I'm not sure if I can get a fix into the 1.5.1 release, which is currently in testing for release in a couple of days, but if not a fix will definitely be in the 1.5.2 release (scheduled for mid to late November).
Regards,
Ryan
