(Select the source term, press Alt + G, M or Felix >> Add to Glossary, then type in the translation and press Enter.) I'd be interested to hear how useful people think this feature is, and where it could be improved. My two immediate goals for it are to simplify the shortcut, and support formatted text (now, only plain text is supported).

Hmm, missed the existence of this, but I gave it a whirl.
When I tried it, it deleted the word I had highlighted and cleared all
the marking in the fuzzy match found for segment that was open at the
time. I also registered that match (which was displayed at the time) as
the new segment translation even though I did not enter it in the Word
document. I had to delete the match and reopen the segment. Perhaps I
hit a wrong key. On second try, I got the dialog to come up.
Wasn't there some way of getting this to work in a similar manner
before. I think it opened the regular glossary addition dialog with the
highlighted text in it. I think further development on the Register
glossary function might be better, but for quick entries this is useful.
Personally, I prefer to be able to highlight both the source and target
after I have finished tweaking the translation and then enter them in
the glossary. However, I can see that this new function could be useful
for terms gleaned from other sources and copied and pasted into it. It
also may save time for single term entry. The fact that it displays in
the Glossary window for the currently open segment after F6 is
excellent. Up to now only OmegaT has this function that I know of. I
would make the flip back from add glossary view automatic at the end of
this particular script to avoid the need to use click on the glossary
window or use F6. Since speed is the point here (I think), it would be
better
I will play with it a little more and let you know what I think. The
shortcut is definitely problematic because it is on both sides of the
keyboard, making it particularly cumbersome on ergonomic keyboards.
Thanks for letting me know about it.
