Subject: RSS Feed Error
My RSS Feed has this message on my board... What does it means?

Error: Feed failed! Causes may be (1) No data found for RSS feed
http://invisionplus.net/forums/ssi.php?a=o...5,7,13,16,23,53
&show=10&type=rss&mforum=mineforever; (2) There are no items are
available for this feed; (3) The RSS feed does not validate.

Please verify that the URL http://invisionplus.net/forums/ssi.php?a=o...5,7,13,16,23,53
&show=10&type=rss&mforum=mineforever works first in your browser and
that the feed passes a validator test.

It means exactly what it says it means:

1. There's no data in your feed, or

2. There are no items available, or

3. The feed doesn't validate

Going to http://www.invisionplus.net/forums/ssi.php?a=o...5,7,13,16,23,53&show...
I get this:

------
An error occured whilst processing this directive

Syndication..

RSS:

http://domain.com/forums/ssi.php?a=out&f=1,2,3,4,5&show=10&type=rss
http://domain.com/forums/ssi.php?a=out&f=1,2,3,4,5&show=10&type=xml

Will show last 10 topics in reverse chronological last post date order
from
all the forums in the comma separated list
------

As you can see, that's not a proper feed. I think those lines are
attempting to show you what a proper Invision feed looks like, so I
tried this:

http://www.invisionplus.net/ssi.php?a=out&f=1,2,3,4,5&show=10&type=rss

and this:

http://www.invisionplus.net/ssi.php?a=out&f=1,2,3,4,5&show=10&type=xml

but was told:

An error occured whilst processing this directive
Template file does not exist

Perhaps you might grab the template file you need at http://www.invisionpower.com/

Good luck,

Binky

You're running IP.Board, right? Your best bet is to get the
documentation at http://www.invisionpower.com/community/board/documentation.html

Failing that, phone their support line at 800-901-5491 for help, and
they ought to be able to help you out.

Good luck,

Binky
