Email subscribers vs. Readers

First, I use "Widgetbox" on my site and inorder for it to display the
picture as well as partial post, I have to have Blogger feed set to
"full". It works perfectly. The problem I have is that my email
subscribers are getting the entire post including my "download' link
for the podcast. If Widgetbox can take the feed and only show a
partial description of my post + the pic without the download button,
can't this be done with my email subscribers? The whole point is to
get them to visit my site, not just wait for each post and have
everything given to them. In addition, I do not use 'smartcast' with
this feed. I burn a separate feed for my podcast because my host is
through Podbean and it made it easier to get listed in iTunes.

In addition, the email branding does not work. The only thing that
shows up is the entire friggin' post, pic, downloads and all...not my
graphic. My feed is http://feeds.feedburner.com/partyfavorz and my
site is www.partyfavorz.net (in case you want to see the widget
located on the right hand side towards the middle).

I know this is a lot, but one last question. What's the difference
between subscribers and readers? One day I have 78, the next 57, but
when I login in to Feedburner the stats that appear immediately states
'subscribers' and that number coincides with the 'feedcount' on my
site. Now, when you go into my account and actually look at the
stats, it then says I only have 33 subscribers. Frankly, this is very
confusing. Could you possibly shed some light on this for me.

Well I guess I'm not going to get an answer, though I do think my
request is reasonable. After all, if Widgetbox can break down a
'full' feed and just show a picture and partial post, I think
Feedburner could as well. At the very least, could someone please
explain the inconsistencies in subscribers vs. readers. This is truly
confusing as hell.
