M feed hasn't updated for over 8 hours now. Pinging and resyncing
don't help.

FeedMedic says Error getting URL: 400 - Bad Request

Feed Validator says

Sorry

This feed does not validate. (And then lists 100s of errors.)

This seems to affect many people, but I can't find any indication of
what went wrong. Any idea what is going on and when it will be fixed?

Ha! After resyncing a few times, I find that Feedburner puts a new ad
at the bottom of each post for each resync. So now each post finishes
with 6 ads. Nice. And the latest post still isn't there. I hate not
knowing what is going on, and I hate the feeling of having to learn to
be a web technical wizard just to throw a few paragraphs of text onto
a blog each day.

I am having a similar issue. I don't have ads, but after a resync, I
now have serious problems with multiple subscription choices and their
being repetitive. I also can't get my blog to update.

my blog is a blogspot blog with a custom domain. http://constructionlawva.com

Chris - I know you'd rather have help, but I can only commiserate.

I just wish I could get some indication that Google is aware of the
problem and are working on it.

I can understand that there are too many of us to give us individual
attention, but if Google doesn't say anything when they are working on
a problem, how can I tell if I did something wrong, or whether I
should just wait for Google to fix the problem?

Same problem. I'm just mad that there's not even any acknowledgement
to any of this!!
My feed isn't working, says it's not valid and I haven't changed a
thing.

Well, I guess I'm glad that I'm not the only one experiencing this.
Hopefully they will fix it soon, or at least acknowledge there is a
problem.

I just re-copied the original feed address into my feedburner settings
and all seemed to have cleared up. I have no idea why this worked, it
just did. Still hard to believe that there were no responses though.

Hi Chris,

I'm not sure what you mean by "I just re-copied the original feed
address into my feedburner settings". Are you talking about the
Feedburner screen with the "Save Feed Details" button? I'm not sure
what an original feed address is either.

Thanks,

Mike

Well, I tried resaving some feed details and tried another resync.
The number of ads per post jumped from 7 to 12. Pretty soon my feed
will look like a community newspaper with a short article and 20 pages
of ads.

It was the feed detatils page. Where you plugged in the rss feed from
the page. Mine is back to stuck though with double the page elements
in the feed. Oh well.

I've managed to suppress the ads, but now there is about a half page
of blank space at the end of each feed item, and I still can't get my
feed to pick up any new posts.

Well, I've done it now. I intended to delete my feed and start
again. The delete part worked fine, but the start again doesn't
work. According to Feedburner, I have no feeds, and when I try to
burn one for my BlogSpot site, it tells me that I have a choice of two
feeds to work from. I'm not sure how I can have two feeds and no
feeds at the same time. In any case, both feeds generate an error
when I try to use them to create the Feedburner feed.

So, I'm dead in the water.

Too bad no one has replied to any of these posts that have been here
for at least the last 3 days. It seems to be affecting a lot of
people, myself included.
Hope you can fix your problem.

Well, I can't help. I can only echo everyone's problems.

After reading through all these posts, with no responses coming from
the Feedburner techs whatsoever, I'm determined to actually do what
I've been threatening to do for so long now...

Leave Feedburner. I'm done.

It's gonna be a royal pain the next few days to notify email
subscribers, but I just can't stand this anymore.

Same junk going on here too. I notiuced you mentioned ads a lot. Do
you mean Adsense ads? I added them to my feed last week, but they
never showed up. I was wondering if that had anything to do with this
problem.

Note to self: stop resynching.

I think I really messed up my feed by resyncing. Every time I update
my feed there are a different number of copies of Adsense ads and
FeedFlare lines at the bottom of each post. What a mess.

My feed isn't updating either. My blog name is
http://greatmindsthinklikemerainlillie.blogspot.com/

I have tried pinging and everything else. I don't have ad's, so it's
not the ad's that's the problem. As bloggers our readers keep our
blogs alive, so if we can't reach them our blogs will not be
successful. It isn't right that the folks at Google haven't
communicated with us and told us what the problem is.

As far as I can tell, my feed seems to be fixed now. I've tried so
many things that I have no idea if I fixed it or Google fixed it or
some combination of the two. I guess I won't know for sure whether it
is fixed for all of my readers until I can collect some stats over the
next few days. Since one post didn't go out for nearly a full day,
losing some readers is inevitable, but hopefully less than 10%.

Good luck to everyone else.

My feed's been broken since Sunday.

I tried deleting my Feedburner feed, but that didn't help.

On knownissues.blogspot.com, I see this:
---
Users who redirect their feed requests FeedBurner may be experiencing
delays in their posts being picked up by FeedBurner. We're working on
a fix now, and apologize for the inconvenience.

Update: As of 3:05pm PST 3/31/09, this is fixed.
---

When I try to add either of these URLs to Google Reader:
---
http://tomnelson.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default
http://feeds2.feedburner.com/TomNelson?format=xml
---
I get:
---
Redirect Loop
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for
this address in a way that will never complete.
---

Can anyone help?

change the feedproxy.google.com/xxx to http://feeds2.feedburner.com
I tried all the links and they seem to work for me except the
feedproxy when trying to subscribe using 'My Yahoo"
