Can we delay a feed in FeedBurner?

I know with the email settings we can enter a time for the feed to be
sent. What I am wondering is if there is a way to do this for the
regular feed?

You see, when others publish a (full) feed on another site, it can
actually be outranked in Google for our own content. Not an ideal
situation. This tends to happen with authority sites.

I spoke to a Googler that told me the best way to deal with this is by
delaying the feed (a few hours) until Google has indexed the original
post.

I have looked around FeedBurner and can't find a way to readily do
this. Is there an option for this (considering it's a Google problem)
or do we have to actually custom program a solution into the CMS?
