For the last couple of weeks, my email subscribers complained that they
weren't receiving my new posts. When I looked at my Feedburner account it
looks like every time I have a new post there is a error message (503) that
said that Google was unable to retrieve the feed but about a half hour
behind that it said, Your feed is fine and carry on.
I went to my Blogger setting and changed my feed from full to short
thinking that with 5 posts stacked up that had never been sent out, that
maybe now the problem was that I was over the 512K file size.
That worked. All my back posts went out.
Yesterday, I published a new blog and again, nothing.
I have my feed set for short but on the Feedburner site for my account it
said "file too large"
After checking with the troublshooter directions I went so *
www.web-sniffer.net* <http://www.web-sniffer.net/> and it doesn't show that
the file is too large. (of course, as I don't understand it, maybe I am
reading it wrong)
When I looked at the Validate page on Feedburner it says" I have "use of
unknown namespace and "self reference doesn't match document location"
Neither of those things I understand.
Behind those messages there are pages of yellow highlighted code that is
just a jumple of words. Like maybe the words used in the lables of old
posts.
Also in the trouble shooting it says to add ?max-results=3 to the original
feed line. But on my account page it says NEVER change the original feed.
All of that makes me nervous.
I am attaching both the error messages and the validation info if that
helps.
