Hi. My ID is 432 and I tried to import a list from aweber with about
17.000 e-mails. I received the message: "Please check the format of
the file you uploaded and make sure it contains email addresses in CSV
format." However I did exactly as the tutorial video on home told to
be done.

Can you help me?

Thanks,

Marcelo

Hi Marcelo,

Were you trying to upload a CSV file? You may need to open your list
in Excel and save it as a CSV file before uploading. Try uploading a
partial list or a test file if it still doesn't work. There could be
something malformed in the file. Sorry - this is not as robust as it
probably could be.

Hi Brian,

I created a csv file only with e-mails. The aweber files comes with
many fields. When creating the file only with e-mails, some spaces
were created before the e-mails. The import seems to be fine. Can you
confirm it to me? I´m worried because of the spaces before e-mails on
my file...

Thanks,

Marcelo

Hi Marcelo,

The spaces won't be a problem.  Those will get automatically removed from the email.  Hope it helps!

Thank you,

Hi Brian,
I opened an account in feedmailpro for the blog www.vigevanosostenibile.org
The account email is p o s t a @vigevanosostenibile.org

I tried to import from an existing list of 411 member.
This is the message I received:
-----------------------------------------
Feed ID: 556
Mailing ID: 8418

Your import failed with the following problem: Too many bounces (29
out of 411).

We've removed your importing subscribrers. Sorry, we have to maintain
strict quality requirements to ensure high deliverability for all our
customers. Please feel free to clean up your email list and try
importing again.
If you're exporting from another service, you may need to edit the
list to ensure only *active* subscribers are being imported.
Importing a list with both active an inactive subscribers will almost
certainly cause it to fail. If there's anything else we can do please
feel free to post in our support forum:
http://groups.google.com/group/feedmailpro/
-----------------------------------------

Ovviously I tried again to import a cleaned up list. But the result is
that I receive the same message.
And again: when I try to import another list (f.e. a list of 40 e-
mails) I alwais receive the same message.
Thanks for your help.

Hi Antonio,

I'm afraid I may not be able to help. Importing lists is not without
risks and we have to take it carefully. If your list has too many
bounces we may not be able to import it. Apologies.

Sorry Brian, maybe I didn't explain very well.
I imported a list of 40 e-mails and the message was the same:
Too many bounces (29 out of 411).

411? I imported a list of 40!
The sistem always respond me the same message every time I import any
list
Thanks, Vigevano Sostenibile

Hi Antonio,

Ok glad to see the import of 100 worked.  I assume there was a mixup on the messaging about the import of 40.  Each message should reflect only that import, but it takes time to complete an import so it may have overlapped somehow.  Hope it helps and apologies for the trouble.

Thank you,
Brian Armstrong

Hi Antonio,

Ahh...I see what happened now.  You're right that is our fault.  It looked at that mailing several times now and failed because of it when it should have only failed once there.  Sorry about that and thanks for letting me know!  I should have this fixed by tomorrow.

Thank you,
Brian Armstrong

Hi Rob,

You may have encountered the same error as Antonio above if you:

1. did an import which failed
2. did a different (valid) import but got the same failure message
from the first import

Apologies for the trouble. It should be fixed now. If your feed id
is 581 I don't see any imports for it though. Perhaps you deleted the
old feed and started over? If so that's fine. Thanks!

Thanks Brian!
I try now to import a list of 340 e-mails.
Later I'll write a new post and ... wait for response.
Thanks again for this product.
