Subject: Re: Unable to connct even with firewall off

Continued thanks. From time to time, Feed Demon comes up with a window that
says "You're using FeedDemon without the benefits of synchronization! …
Would you like to enable synchronization?" If I select Yes, it tries to
connect, then comes up with "Unable to Connect to Internet." In the Tools
menu, I don't have "Synchronization Options", I have "Enable
Synchronization…" If I select Enable Synchronization, I get the same
"Unable to Connect to Internet." I get this message at no other time. This
message is clearly coming from FeedDemon, not from Windows. So, I've never
sycnronized from this computer. I can browse, send mail, etc., and I can
browse from FeedDemon, and my feeds update OK. I could get an
application-specific password from Google, but I have no place to put it,
because FeedDemon never gets as far as Google or as far as asking me for a
Google password - it fails before that, as far as I can see.
