new "read timed out"

After years of perfect service i'm suddenly experiencing problems
getting my feed published.
When I run through troubleshootize > resync, all i see is an error
"read timed out".
The original blog is Wordpress based (no recent updates!), Plugins
have been deactivated for testing:

which validates just fine.
the feedburner feed should be at
http://feeds.feedburner.com/couchpotatoes

I also checked with my provider, they haven't changed any security
settings that would filter google's access.

I'd really appreciate any help/ideas!
