If you let me know what your FeedBurner feed URL is, I will take a look at things.

I, too, have lost almost all of my subscribers and I don't know why.

Feed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/BlackBeltProductivity/

Wednesday, January 16, 2008: 6,147 subscribers
Thursday, January 17, 2008: 1,132 subscribers

Now, on that day, I changed the location of my blog on my webhost from:
http://www.blackbeltproductivity.net/blog/feed to
http://blog.blackbeltproductivity.net/feed

I edited the Original Feed in the feed details to show this change. Later on Thursday, the feed picked up the new post that was posted on the new site, that was not posted on the old site, so I am not sure why I lost over 5,000 subscribers.

Please help!

Hi Michael,

Please check if you are affected by this known issue: http://forums.feedburner.com/viewtopic.php?t=19926

I don't think so. I don't use FeedBlitz (knowingly at least), and I have only seem 3 FeedBlitz subscribers on my stats before the 5k loss.

@tfredrick: Your feed is timing out when we request it. It is taking longer than 10 seconds to respond to our requests. So we end up spitting out an error page instead of your feed content because we are having problems with your source feed. If you fix the response time on the source feed, things should come back to normal.

Thanks for the feedback, Joe. I'm not sure how to fix that problem. Everything else seems to be loading as well.

I can access the feed quickly at this URL: http://babygotbooks.com/feed

Is that different?

Looks like you were pointing your feed at an old reference. You must have updated your WordPress installation, right? Anyway, I have pointed your FeedBurner feed at the correct source feed, so things should be working properly now. I would double-check your feed configuration on WordPress, and I would recommend that you update to the latest version of the FeedSmith plugin for WordPress.
