What happened to my subscribers?

Yesterday morning I had 157 subscribers to my blog (address above.)
Today I have 99. I am confused about what happened to the 58
subscribers in one day.
I am even further confused by the fact that we used subscribing to my
blog as part of an activity in our classes yesterday. That was with
over 200 people. Forgive me if I am mistaken, but that means that I
should have over 300 subscribers, not 99.
Anybody got any ideas?
