Feed URI already in use?

I don't remember moving my account, but when I logged in and attempted
to move my account following your instructions, I received this error
message:

"The following feed URIs are already in use: Pelf-ismIsContagious."

What does that mean? By the way, I have a few other feeds as well, not
just this one.

Hi,

I too have a similar error:

The following feed URIs are already in use: ajaysupport, PlanetAjay,
AjayOnWP, ajaydsouza/comments, ajaydsouza/podcast, MariseLobo.

I own all of these URLs.

I also got this message. It only refers to one of the eleven feeds I
own, but it will not let me get any further than that. Once I get the
message "The following feed URIs are already in use..." Then it says
return to FeedBurner, but when I click that it gives me an error
message and won't even return to FeedBurner.

I got the same error message after migrating my account to Google.
Unfortunately, I renamed the feed that caused the error message. Now I
cannot rename it back because it still says that the URI is already in
use. But it isn't in use (feedburner returns a 404 for it). Any idea
how I can get back the original URI for my feed?

Yet another person here suffering the "The following URIs are already
in use" error.

I renamed my podcast feed to avoid a feedburner bug in the email
subscription service, but realised I lost access to my iTunes account
by doing so (as the old feed now fails so I can't "tell" iTunes about
the new feed address). I tried to change it back so I could notify
iTunes and other subscribers of the change, but now it says the URI is
already taken (it's not, it's just returning a 404 error)

There appear to be LOTS of people with this problem. Is there a
solution?

Best case would be the old URI merely redirects to the new one I guess?

I'm also getting this error message. The first time I tried to
transfer my feeds to my Google account, I got this message:

Unfortunately, that doesn't work either. www.feedburner.com greets me
with "Welcome back, Zargony", but when I click on "My Feeds", it wants
me to log in and after log in, I'm redirected to
feedburner.google.com.

Isn't there any way to get my uri back to work? It's now unavailable
(returning 404 for subscribers) for more than a week and I'm loosing
subscribers.

I have the same problem. The process to move my feeds finished with an
error. Now I get this message when I try to move them again: The
following feed URIs are already in use: TheJunkDrawer, junkdrawerblog/
fiiJ, junkdrawerblog/vKtJ.

I have no feeds in Google, though my account is created. I'm desperate
for this to be fixed before Feb. 28. I would greatly appreciate a fix.

It's currently at feeds2.feedburner.com/pridago-blog and I'm unable to
rename it back to feeds2.feedburner.com/pridago (uri already taken
error even though I had that uri previously and the url currently
returns a 404, so it should be available).

I have the same problem!! And today I logged onto feedburner to
'manage' my subscriptions there, and it's showing ZERO (0)
subscribers. Yesterday I had 328...and I'm one of them, so the number
should be at least 1, lol.
Is this because I haven't migrated to google yet? Does anyone else

No, my feed number is OK (I have 5000 subscribers splited among 7-8
blogs in one Feedburner account), but the error "The following feed
URIs are already in use: alabala." is still there.

Obviously there are various issues in this service crying to be solved
and we must be patient and wait for some kind of feedback from
Feedburner Team in the near future.

Hi, Franklin. How's it going with the correction? Can you tell us what
might happen to our FB feeds if this isn't resolved by the end of the
month? I'm terribly concerned that my blog will crash and burn if it's
not fixed in time for the cutover. I'm trying to figure out a way to
keep my readers if this isn't resolved. Can you poke your head in here

Is there a time line on this? Because 28th is the deadline before all
feeds on Feedburner.com go dead. If that happens a lot of us are going
to lose a lot of feeds!

There is some progress regarding this problem, but regretfully - it is
not helping at all.

Today I tried to migrate again, and this time I was able to proceed
further, without the bad error message appearing, but when hitting
"Next" nothing happens.

to switch back to my original feed uri. My feed is now unavailable for
18 days :-(

Moving Feeds.

Nothing has been moved and its well over a day!

well... It's been around 6 weeks now and my uri still isn't available.
Come on, this is getting annoying. It can't be that hard. If I had
known that I'd lose my feed url, I would have never migrated my
account...

- Before migration, everything was ok (feeds.feedburner.com/pridago)
- After migration, it kept saying that the uri is not available, so I
changed it and now I cannot change back to the original uri since it
keeps telling me the uri is not available
- feeds.feedburner.com/pridago now properly redirects to
feeds2.feedburner.com/pridago
- however, feeds2.feedburner.com/pridago returns a 404 error. so its
telling users the feed does not exist
