I would like to invite everyone in the community to look through their
FDS cases, and If you have something that demonstrates an outstanding
use of FDS and Smokeview, please reply to this message with details
and a link to the media. If your submission is an image, this can
either be attached to your reply message, or upload it to the files
section of this group and provide in you reply the URL to the image
file/s. If you are submitting a video, I recommend that you upload it
to a service like Google Video and then provide us with the URL to the
video page.
Here is a link to the Technical Requirements page for Google Video:

Note: You will need to log in with your Google Account to upload the
video. You can use the same account that you access this group with.
We are looking for simulations run with FDS 5 and visualized in
Smokeview 5, also remember to give a short description for the video/
image. You can post-process the images and/or videos in an editor of
your choice to make it look snazzy, but your source material needs to
be from the 'FDS / Smokeview' dynamic duo.
To throw in a bit of friendly competition, on the 1st of each month an
image or video will be announced as the "FDS-SMV Simulation of the
Month" and will be placed on the Official website homepage for that
month. We will be looking for the combination of an interesting/
impressive simulation topic that is presented in a visually appealing
way.
I look forward to your contributions and to selecting our first winner
on March 1st, 2008.
