periodic Boundary conditions

Hi,

I was reading the source code and I had question in wall.f90 Line 573 after the end select method of mass transfer.  The pure periodic boundary conditions for single mesh case is being commented out.  I would like to know why is this being done? Isn't periodic boundary conditions being used for a single mesh case? I remember reading it in the User guide that periodic boundary conditions are being used for single mesh case.

Any help in this issue will be appreiciated.

Where in the User's Guide does it say that periodic boundary
conditions are used for the single mesh case? Periodic boundary
conditions are used only for a few verification cases where the
computed solution is compared to the analytical solution of the
governing equations in very special arrangements.

Then what sort of boundary condition is used for a single mesh case? Ya i read it in the verification guide regarding periodic boundary conditions.
