Description: In this group we can share and discuss the MATLAB toolbox for Functional Connectivity. The article on this toolbox "MATLAB toolbox for functional connectivity' is in-press in Neuroimage.

A new place for this toolbox
Dear all: I have created a new website for this toolbox and here is the link: [link] And now you can download the toolbox from this website. Dongli

The downloading file does not exist
Hi, I tried to download the toolbox file on the homepage of this group. But it seems the link is bad that it points to a non-existing file. Can someone check this for me? Thank. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MATLAB Toolbox for Functional Connectivity" group.... more »

how to identify hubs?
Hello, I was wondering what the best way was to identify the sites (be it EEG or FMRI) that are 'best connected'. That is, I have a connected matrix A in which I set the diagonals to zero. I then compare: (1) degrees_und(A) to (2) degrees_und(randmio_connected( A,100)) and only retain the sites where (1) is greater than (2). Is this the... more »

help interpreting coherence /lambda_Coh
Hi all I've just performed a coherence measure between two EEG time series. I get the following lambda_Coh (375 points, which corresponds to the time points I have in each epoch). However, I don't know how to interpret this. As explained in the paper, those should be the frequencies that the coherence is calculated for. If so, why are they... more »

help with analysis - EEG data
Hi all, I need some help with my analysis as I am just now starting to play around with this toolbox. I have EEG data, with 60 channels. In my experiment I have 2 types of events that I want to compare and therefore see whether there are any differences in responses. Within the time series, there are 39 epochs... more »

Matlab Toolbox: EEG data?
Hi all, I'm a new member and I've just finished reading the paper related to this toolbox. If I understand correctly, this toolbox can only be used for fMRI data, and not EEG. If so, would you suggest making my own scripts in matlab or adjusting the ones from the toolbox in order to be used for EEG data? (eg the correlation functions).... more »

Updated FC toolbox with new function allowing generation of connectivity matrices based on multiple inputs
Dear all, I have uploaded a new version of the FC toolbox where we adjusted the function of 'getallconnectivityinds'. A new function has been added to the toolbox also. It allows generation of connectivity matrices based on multiple input time- series. Specifically, given input timeseries y=[y1,...,yn] :... more »

Question about getallconnectivityinds.m
Hi! Thank you for your nice toolbox for FC. I'm a beginner in terms of FC. Just I type some command like below in Matlab I encountered errors. Please let me know what I should miss it. Thanks, BJeong ...??? Error using ==> butter at 41 The cutoff frequencies must be within the interval of (0,1).... more »

Appropriate preprocessing?
Hello, I am starting to use your toolbox (specifically the mutualinf function) to develop a connectivity matrix for graph theoretic analysis. I am curious as to exactly what preprocessing parameters I ought to be using (most of my neuroimaging experience is with meg/ eeg). I have images realigned and normalized in spm. I thought I... more »
