Monday Apr 30 FCA Meeting

The next Free Culture Alliance NYC meeting will be held *tomorrow* on
Monday April 30 at 7 PM in NYU Kimmel Center Room 901 (and afterward,
merges into Free Culture NYU meeting and free pizza in same room at
7:30 PM)

If you're not an NYUer, just tell the guy in the lobby that you're
going up to "Free Culture" in 901.

There should be folks from Students for Free Culture, the Internet
Society-NY, Wikimedia NYC and other like-minded movements attending.

Free Culture World's Fair coming up in July, where all Free Culture

Unfortunately I won't be able to attend.

However, I'm now planning an Internet Society event which will be either
Wednesday 5/16 or Thursday 5/17 in the evening on the theme of Internet
freedom. It will probably be on the NYU campus and will be part of NYC
Internet Week. I'm also working with the DC Chapter on remote participation.

Suggestions - especially for presenters - are welcome. And we always
welcome volunteers!
