FBReader for Google Android (and other Java platforms)

Hello All,

this is announcement of our new project -- FBReaderJ. FBReaderJ is
port of FBReader to Java.

FBReaderJ should contain all the features of FBReader, but will be
implemented in Java, not in C++. FBReaderJ will be available with the
source code. Current stage is very alpha, so you cannot download
binaries or source code at the moment, sorry.

FBReaderJ will be crossplatform, as the FBReaderC++. (Yes, of course,
Java is crossplatform language, but it uses different UI on desktop
computers and mobile phones.)

Currently FBReaderJ works on desktop computers (Windows, Linux, Mac)
and on Google Android (http://www.android.com/) emulator. Screenshots
of FBReaderJ on Android emulator are available at
http://www.fbreader.org/FBReaderJ/android/screenshots/
