I apologize upfront for this advertisement but as 4DIAC is an open
source initiative promoting IEC 61499 I thought you would find this of
interest:

It is a great pleasure for us to announce that the 4DIAC User's
Workshop will again be held in conjunction with the IEEE ETFA
conference (http://www.etfa2013.org) on 14th September 2013 in
Cagliari, Italy.

Similar to last years the 4DIAC User's Workshop intends to be an
opportunity to present your work and projects related to 4DIAC as well
as exchange ideas and discuss the near future planned enhancements of
the open source initiative with the development team. In addition to
presentations this year’s workshop will also provide the possibility
for people that are not able to join us in person to present their use
of 4DIAC in form of a poster.

You can find the template to submit a presentation or a poster
proposal and information about the 4th 4DIAC User's Workshop at
http://www.fordiac.org/52.0.html. At this site also information about
the previous workshops are provided.

The deadline for the submission of workshop presentation and poster
proposals is March 15th, 2013.

4DIAC is the open source initiative for distributed industrial
automation and control systems. It provides a full featured
engineering tool, a small, scalable, and real-time capable PLC runtime
environment as well as function block libraries and example
