Hey guys, I haven't received a message in a while LOL

How's the OSI album? I love it!

It HAS been pretty quiet.

OSI – I really like Cold Call, but haven’t really gotten into the rest of it. Still trying to comprehend how good Sympathetic Resonance is… burned myself out on that for a while.

What about Clockwork Angels? I enjoyed it but kind of drifted away… need a harder edge after a while. Been busy jamming Anthrax/Worship Music and Accept/Stalingrad. Maybe it’s time for a mood change and return to Prog.

Same here for me with Rush's Clockwork Angels. I'm really tempted to see them live..I just like the live Rush more than the studio Rush. Closest show for me is Dallas and San Antonio...SA ticket prices are outrageous, 120 bucks for the last section of the arena WTF...Dallas tix are 60 bucks like really up there, but it's a 3 hr drive compared to an hr drive to SA. Hopefully they'll do a 2nd leg.

Trying to get into FW mood lately. I just listened to Parallels and Inside Out back to back.

Oscar, you totally need to see Rush. They play quite a bit of the new album, probably because they're taking a string ensemble with them on the tour. It's great to see them do something different this time around, after seeing them on every tour since 1990!

Don't know about the latest tour, but I've seen them maybe four times since
1990, each awesome and better than the last. Few concerts are worth $120 to
me, but Rush is one of them...

Any other shows? Did anyone report on Redemption at ProgPower?

Saw Iron Maiden this summer, Rammstein in spring. Both were great, especially Rammstein!

Lorraine will need to give the Redemption at ProgPower report.

Just read on the MP Forum that Rush is filming both the Phoenix and Dallas shows. Interesting. I hope they do play CA in its entirety.

I did buy the new RUSH album but don't listen to it much as I could get it out of that crappy cd case for about 1 hour without cracking the cd:-( I don't like the new Rush stuff as much and stick with the first album thru moving pictures:-) I do think the live shows is where it's at!!!!I saw them in 2010 and it was one of the best shows ive seen and is well worth $100+ a ticket!! The last show ive seen was Maiden and WOW they still put on a great show as well.

Im just got my Metallica collection page running again after 3 years not updated and have a FATES WARNING side page with my collection that Im now working on if anyone wants to check it out:

Hey Brian

If you check out Ebay, there's a couple of vinyls, FWX and APSOG released through Night of the Vinyl Dead (something like that).

I had been lucky to get a copy of FWX for cheap (around 25 €) when it's been released (it's not as cool as I expected: They changed the song order and the inlay is little poor - some of the best pics are missing).
Sadly, I did not even notice they also released APSOG. Now it's to late to get one copy for cheap - you have to pay the double price to some dealers who only buy the stuff to sell it to some poor crazy LP loving idiots like me...

I checked out your collection pics. They do look awesome.
As also mentioned in posts below, there have been two vinyl reissues. FWX in black vinyl and APSOG in blue vinyl (!!), both hand-numbered and limited to 250. They were released by "Night of the Vinyl Dead" label (http://www.nightofthevinyldead.com/) in late September. There are a few items up for grabbing in eBay.

The APSOG blue vinyl can still be found under 40euro and it looks very cool in photos. I ordered it from a local store and should be arriving within the nest days.

Rammstein's one of the few bands I really dig but haven't seen yet (along w/
Anthrax, Redemption, Steel Prophet).... ironic since I grew up in Germany;
but they rarely come here to the US!

Will have to check out the new Kamelot and Lacuna. They're those types of
bands that I dig when I hear but have never really gotten into in a big way.
I did hear the new Opeth was, well, mediocre... guess you agree, Scott.

So we're pretty sure there will be a "FWXI" in 2013? That would be, well,
awesome. Especially if it's anywhere near as good as A/M.

Highly recomment Accept's "Stalingrad." Straightforward metal, nothing prog
about it, but a lot of tasty licks from the great Herr Hoffman.

I've been trying to get the scoop on this particular release, but haven't heard anything definitive. Jim never heard of it, and doesn't think it is legit. I sent an email to Brian Slagel at Metal Blade, but haven't heard back yet. So, I don't know if this is an authorized release or just a vinyl bootleg.

Metal Blade does still have the blue vinyl Awaken The Guardian and I think some No Exit picture discs available on their site.

Rammstein toured the U.S. this year and last year. They seriously put on the best show I have ever seen, and I've been going to concerts for 25 years! Check YouTube for live videos. Hopefully they'll come back.

I'm not dead
'Ere, he says he's not dead.
      Yes he is.
I'm not.
   He isn't.
Well, he will be soon, he's very ill.
I'm getting better.
No you're not, you'll be stone dead in a moment.

Just not that active lately. Most of my attention has been on making updates to official sites I'm now running and on places like Facebook and Twitter. There is also a forum at FatesWarning.com that gets a little bit of traffic.

Personally, I like email lists, but they seem to be losing favor. I'll try to send more updates this way as well.

Last two shows for me were Iron Maiden in Dallas in August, and Fiona Apple in September. Both great shows in their own way. Since then I've been listening mostly to the latter, and OSI and FW. Started checking out Rush Clockwork Angels, which I had put off since I am not able to go to the show due to a day conflict (saw them for the first time on the Time Machine tour though).

I enjoyed looking at Jim’s gear, Mike! I like the image/gallery script. Nicely done with the websites, as always.

Dear Michael, Mark, Oscar, Ray... I really speak rarely, but maybe this time I caused the start of these new discussions with my mail about our new Master Experience release. Did you receive it? I am not sure, I didn't receive any answer by your side. Really... go to Youtube and Soundcloud and give me your impressions! I can send for review to Oscar on his forum and to whom interested, an Haulix version of Billions of Grains or the physical copy. I totally don't agree, but they say it is FW style.

Me and my wife have seen a single time FW live il Florence in Italy, we really hope in a new album next year, with an European tour! Maybe we are the most fucking mad fan of FW in all continent.

I like the last OSI album, but the album Office of SI remains my favourite. In this moment I am listening Elegy, RUSH Different Stages live, Anathema and some Italian Prog. Do you know any Italian prog metal or prog rock Group? We had/have many interesting things... I can suggest you some of them if interested!
