SHOW TIME IS FAST APPROACHING
FARM TO FAMILY HOLIDAY FULL MOON FESTIVAL

What most folks don't know about the Farm to Family Festivals are what happens after the stage show ends.  There is so much more.  Come out and set up camp early.  Gates open on Thursday at noon.  There is no stage show on Thursday.  Show time is Friday at 2pm, but Thursday is the PreParty.  If you like pickin' and singing, come to the Bill Monroe Pickin' Tent located in the back stage camping in the center of the RV Village.  Spend an awesome evening pickin' or relaxing, tapping your foot, and watching.  Bring a chair or bring a instrument.  If you like to sing, but don't play, I am sure there will be some pickers that can play your favorite song.

Drum Circle Arena
If you have a hand drum, come on over to the Drum Circle Arena.  There will be a roaring fire going and some heavy guest drummers will keep the drum circle going to create a drum circle experience to remember.  All drummers are welcome.  If you are new to drumming just stop by and see what it is all about.  The Drum Circle is on the site map in the program guide
.

Hangin' out at your camp site is a favorite too.  Small picking circles always develop all around the camp grounds.

Primitive Camping is Free and there is plenty of room.  Lots of trees and grass.
RV hook ups. (Electric and Water) spaces are limited and available for a fee.  There are still a few left.  See the web site to reserve a spot.

A Message from Shannon Erickson
Winter Playland
Chime sent me a vendor info email recently. She suggested the theme for the vendors to be "Winter Playland". I thought this was a great idea and asked the bosses if we could take it a step further and invite all campers to decorate thier campsites in the Winter Playland theme.  They agreed.  Below are some suggestions to get your creative minds warmed up.
  • dress up as fairies, elves or other holiday fun characters
  • hang snowflakes, snowballs or other ornaments from trees
  • attach snowmen, penguins, etc. to trees
  • simply hang holiday ribbons
  • think sparkles, it will look magical when the moonlight glows on them!
Please do keep a few things in mind when decorating:
  • no glass. we don't want anyone hurt on broken glass and the clean up will be difficult
  • be kind to the environment
  • clean up. please take down all decorations on Sunday before you leave
If you come up with any really creative, and especially, economical ideas please post them on the Farm to Family Official Page/Group  http://www.facebook.com/groups/farmtofamily/ . Creative people please feel free to bring extra decorations to help those less creative. Don't procrastinate, we only have a few days!! Let's have fun with this and turn the Gilchrist Fundraiser Music Park into the Farm to Family Winter Playland.---sme

Perfect Festival Weather: Pleasant clear days and cool nights.  We have a huge amount of fire wood for The Festival Fire, The Drum Circle Fire, Vending and Stage too.  Cured Oak for campers is also available on the South end of Vendor Row in the Festival Village.  Check out the creations of our Fire Keeper, Flipper Dan.

Advance Ticket sales will end on Wednesday evening. . . . $20 advance and $25 at the gate.
Check out the bands and the music and learn about the Holiday Toy Drive on the web site.
