Dear friends,
On Saturday May 5, thousands of people will gather in communities around the globe for Climate Impacts Day. We're connecting the dots between climate change and the very real impacts already being felt — from Wisconsin to South Africa.
Here in Stevens Point, we'll gather for a day of volunteering at the Greenhouse Project. Please join us!
WHAT: Climate Change in Point
WHERE: The Greenhouse, 1220 Briggs Court, Stevens Point, WI
WHEN: Saturday, 5/5/12, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM (Lunch will be provided)
You'll spend the day with Interfaith Community for the Earth & Central Rivers Farmshed, helping to remove two greenhouses so that solar thermal collectors can be erected in their place to heat the Greenhouse Project complex. We'll connect the dots between sustainable foods, renewable energy, and climate change! Our photos from the day will join a global chorus calling for action.
We hope you can join us this Saturday.
