Problems with Security Module

Hi All,

I've implemented the new farcry security module to a system I am
working on and we are having some issue that seem a bit strange.

The user validation works just fine if the user has entered a full URL
like www.domain.com.au but if the user enters the url like
domain.com.au then he is unable to login and keeps being redirected to
the login page.

Does anyone have any idea what this might be?

Could be a browser thing, what browser is used?
I remember having similar behavior with Firefox, had to adjust the
authentication settings of Firefox.

The client who complained about this was using IE.
I've tested it in multiple browsers and they all have the same issue.
