Folks,

We're going to try a weekly developer Q&A session once a week on a
specific topic. The session will run for about 30 minutes; 20mins
show & tell and 10mins questions & answers or thereabouts.

First session will be on Tuesday, 8AM Sydney time. Not sure how this
works for people around the world but its a convenient time for us.
Sessions will be recorded and republished the same day we hope. All
and sundry are welcome to turn up.

We'll be running an Adobe Connect room, simply login as a guest:
http://pacific.adobe.acrobat.com/farcry

Next week's topic will be on, "AJAX Views". Mat Bryant will take us
through how to create a view that is AJAXed onto the page after the
primary page has loaded. Ideal for slow running pods or personalised
content that you don't want breaking the rest of the pages cache.

If you have suggestions for future sessions let us know.

Geoff,

Great idea, 8AM Sydney time will be late, but OK here in UK.

Chris.

Geoff and Matt,

Thanks for a great Q&A session last night/this morning.

I think these sessions will help many developers get to know some of
the features of FarCry that would probably go unknown. I would
recommend all who can to attend or at least view the recorded
sessions.

In a short session Matt got across how to set up AJAX views with some
examples.

Chris.

The Q&A was at 1AM here in Norway, so I was sleeping :-(
Do anyone know where I can see the recording?

Jørgen~

Had a few problems sorting out the Adobe Connect export and cleanup of
the session. Anyhoot, i've put up a couple of different sizes of the
video at a temporary location, till i work out what I'm going to do
with this content -- should be good for iphone through desktop:
