  Hi Pete, i only setup farcry online one time as a test case to check &lt;br&gt; if it worked out on shared hosting, eventually it did. Can you share &lt;br&gt; the new error? &lt;br&gt; Most problems i had where due to likely wrong image paths and not be &lt;br&gt; able to write folders if they not yet exist, all due to the shared &lt;br&gt; hosting environment.

  Hi i am using the services of hostmysite also and also encountered the &lt;br&gt; permission issue on the shared hosting package, it&#39;s due to the &lt;br&gt; sandbox security and they can fix that as you already found out. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;You don&#39;t have and will get permission for the c:\websites path as it &lt;br&gt; is indeed the root of their server, you will have to check your own

  Thanks Geoff. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;After I had time to reflect on the error, I called my shared hosting &lt;br&gt; company and asked if it was possible for my domain to have read &lt;br&gt; permissions setup for the WEB-INF\cftags folder on the server. Turns &lt;br&gt; out, they do allow it and I was able to install successfully. It may &lt;br&gt; be helpful to mention this requirement in the documentation for shared

  Hi folks, &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Are other people that are using FC 5.0.2 having issues with the speed &lt;br&gt; the site tree loads? &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Mine takes minutes to load a branch when you expand it?   Yes. flushcache will clear out the object / webskin cache, updateapp &lt;br&gt; should only be necessary if the type schema changes.

  The only thing I know is that for files, when they are Archived, they get &lt;br&gt; the ObjectID added to the front of the file name when it is put into the &lt;br&gt; Media Archive.
