Meta keywords field size limited in database?

On a content object like an HTML page, there is an SEO section that
includes a "keywords" field, which it states is limited to 900
characters. However the database appears to be 250 characters on the
metakeywords field?

If you try to enter more than 250 characters in the webtop, none of
the data is saved at all (so although it says 900, it won't accept
this), and it only saves if you put less than 250 characters in...?

Anyone know if it is something with our setup or a general bug?

This is probably just a db precision issue that we need to fix in core. In older versions that field might not have let you enter 900 characters, I have a feeling that hint/limit was added recently.

If you can raise a ticket in the FarCry Core JIRA that would be good.
