Firefox3是否需要单独安装？为什么不能从Firefox2自动升级过来？

昨天Firefox自动更新了 心中一喜 还以为自动带到3去呢 结果不是 仅仅是在2的基础上升级为 2.0.0.15而已

UBUNTU是更新软件源吧..不是FF的功能..

可以覆盖到FF2的安装目录，但是FF3是手动下载的！

有些人还想用FF2，虽然有很多人想尝新鲜。还有就是很多插件都没来得及更新，所以有些人还会坚持用FF2一段时间，这样是为了照顾到所有的人。

我尝试过升级(覆盖)安装和全新安装.
结果之前的设置都在.

profile默认保存在C盘某个目录里面
而firefox启动 用哪个配置文件 是由C盘某个另外的几个文件控制的
跟你怎么安装无关
