我的硬盘是80G，但是C盘只有8G，今天发现C盘空间已经不多了，只能删除一些，但是还是不够用，检查发现
Google Desktop Serach 的索引占用了我大约 2.2
G的空间，于是我想把索引放到别的盘上，可是不知道怎么修改存放索引的路径，只好重新安装试一试看看有没有选项可以修改索引分区或路径，结果很遗憾，没有提供修 改安装的路径和索引存放的路径，看来没有办法了，只能暂时将它卸载了，等下一个版本出来时看能不能解决这个问题。

各位还有什么好办法？有没有其它的方式的修改呢？

对了，今天下午 desktop.google.com 怎么也不去呢？

有个插件可以更改cache地址，在桌面搜索的插件那里可以找到。

桌面搜索还是不错的
你把user profile的路径改掉就行了 用超级兔子

怎么可能呢？我c盘5g，工作用的文件超多，并未出现这种情况哈。记得以前有高人说这个搜索是放服务器上的。

只有一部分文档、网络历史、Gmail邮件的索引会自动上载到Google服务器的。
我的Desktop怎么还在D: 创建了个索引文件夹……300MB。

谢谢各位的建议，问题已经解决了，我又安装上了我的
GDS 了；
不过，我没有找到上面楼上那位所说的EDS插件，我直接修改的注册表；
在别的盘符建立一个文件夹，把c盘的索引拷贝到新的文件夹下，然后修改注册表：
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Google\Google Desktop 下的 data_dir
值为新文件夹的位置即可，测试后成功了！
