I will read, out loud, I think. Likely somewhere in the 7 p.m. vicinity, but you should come by to pick up and celebrate magazines while people are still making them! FREE.

Tuesday August 18: Pro qm reading!
7 pm, Almstadtstrasse 48-50 (Berlin)
I will again display my reading prowess, this time in what may well be the coolest bookstore in Berlin. Move over Momus! FREE.

Friday August 21: The Anne Elizabeth Moore Award for Excellence in Awesomeness Award Ceremony (and artist's talk)!
6:30 pm, Book & Paper Center for the Arts, 1104 S. Wabash (Chicago)
This will be the closing event for Dismantling the Corporate State and Other Amusements which recently got a great review here. ALSO FREE.

5-10 pm (7 pm Program), SPACE, 1245 Chicago Ave (Evanston)
This special benefit and live taping of the pilot season of talk.in, a radio show, podcast online by Women's Media Group, Chicago, discusses the role feminism plays in the global landscape. "Global Sisterhood: The New Feminism" features celebrated feminist scholar and humanitarian Peg Snyder, and focuses on how American women over these 40 years, have worked with, and learned from, women across the globe. Historian June Sochen looks at global activism as we hear from Snyder, Media Activist and Artist Anne Elizabeth Moore, and Jobi Peterson Cates, Director of Human Rights Watch, Chicago. $100 WITH DINNER / $10 PROGRAM ONLY
