www.ficwad.com -> ficwad.com. Ficwad changed their canonical domain.
You'll need to change [www.ficwad.com] to [ficwad.com] in your config /
personal.ini.

Hi there. I'm not sure if this is me doing something wrong, or a possible bug with the ff.net code.

I've been trying to stay up-to-date with both my Calibre and FFDL versions. Just upgraded FFDL to the latest version for the plugin: 1.7.11. Calibre is version 0.9.20. The problem I'm seeing is that when I give FFDL a url to pull story links from, it is only seeing 20 stories and not the 25 that I see when I look at the page in Opera or Firefox.

Example url: http://www.fanfiction.net/tv/Once-Upon-a-Time/10/0/0/1/0/74164/74168/0/0/1/0/

This has been happening for a couple of weeks, but sometimes I'd see 20 and other times I'd see FFDL say it was downloading 25 stories.

Here is the result I just got from the Get Story URLs menu option using the url I've given above:
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/9032871/1/Lack-of-Control

http://www.fanfiction.net/s/8884487/1/The-Story-of-It-All

http://www.fanfiction.net/s/9000725/1/Good-Citizen

http://www.fanfiction.net/s/8988133/1/Sanctuary

Like I said, I don't know if it is maybe something I'm doing wrong or not. I don't recall having made any tweaks to the personal.ini beyond setting is_adult:true and slow_down_sleep_time:0.750

Thanks again for the work that you developers put in to keeping FFDL up-to-date with the various sites!

I just looked at this URL in my Firefox and only counted 20 stories
listed by ffnet. FFDL gave me URLs for the same 20 stories.

Unless you have an example that I can see different numbers at the same
time in, I'm going to chalk it up to ffnet giving you different numbers
of stories on the page at different times.

- Fix for filling int/float custom columns with favs/etc with commas.

- Fix for HTML entities in complex replace_metadata setups.

- Fixes for fimfiction.net site changes.

- Add "add_to_" feature to ini config. Allow higher priority sections
to *add* to any ini param rather than replace it.

- Remove BBCode, not used by adapter_fimfictionnet anymore.

I have a new test version of the plugin with several structure/usability
improvements:

Get it here:

http://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?p=2460024#post2460024

I'd appreciate it if a few people would try this version out for a while
and let me know how the new features work for you.

Includes:

Make Add from URLs and Create Anthology for URLs modeless. That
means you can open the Add/Create dialogs to put URLs in while still
using the calibre library to look for duplicates, etc.

Add seriesUrl metadata. All sites that FFDL collects series info
for now also collect a series URL. The default series on title_page is
now a link. Used for...

Check for existing Series Anthology books (by seriesUrl) on story
add/update. Similar to Reject List check, but offers to skip if you
already have an anthology book for that story's series. (It doesn't
offer to update the anthology for you.)

Add user/pass for dokuga.com.

Improvements to Reject List feature--allow sorting of reject list
by url, title, author (when present). Improve readability of the reject
dialogs.

Hello.  I updated Calibre today to its latest version and also updated FanfictionDownLoader to version 1.7.17.  Immediately after I've been unable to do anything with the Plugin. With the exception of the "About Plugin" option, every other choice from "Add New from URL" to "Configure Plugin" gives me the same error: TypeError: set_library_config() takes exactly 2 arguments (1 given).  I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling both Calibre and the Plugin to no positive effect.  Any help pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated.

Full details on the error message:
Traceback (most recent call last):

File "calibre_plugins.fanfictiondownloader_plugin.ffdl_plugin", line 440, in add_dialog

File "calibre_plugins.fanfictiondownloader_plugin.ffdl_plugin", line 609, in get_urls_clip

File "calibre_plugins.fanfictiondownloader_plugin.prefs", line 121, in __getitem__

File "calibre_plugins.fanfictiondownloader_plugin.prefs", line 77, in get_library_config

TypeError: set_library_config() takes exactly 2 arguments (1 given)

Thanks,

Hmmm. Apparently you still have an old JSON config file hanging around
and I missed updating that code.

Try the version on this post:
