Page load slowed by fancy_shadow png files

Scrolling down to the red section of my web page load test results for my WordPress site:

you'll see that somehow, my Fancybox for WordPress (version 3.0.1) install is affecting my page load time, even on my main page

I'm not sure why those files are being requested:
Any ideas?
I have W3 Total Cache, with these settings:
Page Cache Enabled and Minify Disabled (if I turn that on, it breaks FancyBox entirely when viewing galleries)

Minify Off (for FancyBox to work, turning it on breaks FancyBox when viewing photos)
Database cache Disabled
Object Cache Enable (Disk)
