Hi guys,

I`ve been putting up a theme for my client, a Perodic theme from
Themeforest that uses Fancybox to bring up YouTube video in the same
frame on
the featured slider on the homepage (you can see it at http://webizrada.org/svepet/.
Everything is working great, except in IE8. The site keeps
freezing for 20 seconds everytime I load a new post or browse through
categories. When I shutdown Fancybox, the site becomes lightning fast
in
IE 8. So it`s gotta be Fancybox. Does anyone have any idea how to fix
this problem? All the other browsers work fine, but not IE 8.

I have the same problem and so far I couldn't find a solution, except
using another fancybox-like plugin.
I'm gonna try with "boxy" plugin.
Wish me luck.

The issue seems to be with the CSS doc that goes with fancy box. At
the bottom, comment out all the FILTER tags for IE. This solved the
issue for me.

We have an .NET page which gave errors when running IE.
After inserting debugging message we think that fancybox 1.3.4
indirectly caused the issue.

The following lines showed that the page was being loaded several
times in the bacjground when requested with the following URL
arguments - these correspond with the filter statements in the
fancybox .css file - as noted above.

As the page was reloading itself more than 8 times it also lead to the
page loading very slowly!

Commenting out filter statements seemed to do the trick and fancybox
does not seem to be differenent in IE as a result.

What do these statements do?
