Yes, our children were identified with a gene mutation by Dr Sylvia Frazier-Bowers. We paid nothing as it was for her research to identify what genes cause this. It was done through a cheek swab in the mail. This documentation helped us prove they were born with a congenital anomaly so we could fight the insurance company to prove it was medical and not dental.

Hello, my daughter is 9 and I just found out that she is missing 14 adult teeth. I made an appointment at Texas children's for her to get genetic testing. In my research, I have found that most sites say that oligodontia is usually associated with a syndrome. Has anyone else had this done?
